Volunteer Agreement and Liability Waiver
For Services with The Community Garden Project
This **Volunteer Agreement and Liability Waiver** ("Agreement") is made on this by and between (the "Organization"), and the individual signing below (the "Volunteer").
I. Agreement of Service
**1. Status:** The Volunteer agrees to provide services to the Organization without expectation of compensation or benefits. The Volunteer acknowledges that this relationship is purely voluntary and does **not** create an employer-employee relationship, partnership, or joint venture.

**3. Term and Termination:** This Agreement begins on the date signed and continues until terminated by either party. The Organization or the Volunteer may terminate this Agreement at any time, for any reason, with or without notice.
II. Release and Waiver of Liability
**4. Assumption of Risk:** The Volunteer understands that participation in volunteer activities, including , involves inherent risks, dangers, and hazards. The Volunteer freely and voluntarily assumes all such risks associated with participation.

Waiver and Release:** In consideration of being permitted to participate in the Organization's activities, the Volunteer hereby irrevocably releases, waives, discharges, and covenants not to sue the Organization, its officers, agents, and employees (the "Releasees") from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by the Volunteer, **whether caused by the negligence of the Releasees or otherwise.**
**6. Medical Consent:** The Volunteer authorizes the Organization to seek emergency medical treatment on their behalf, should the need arise. The Volunteer assumes all costs related to medical care.
III. Acknowledgement
I, the Volunteer, have read this Agreement, fully understand its terms, and understand that I am giving up substantial rights, including the right to sue. I sign it freely and voluntarily without any inducement.
