The World (Setting & Theme): A blend of 1930s pulp adventure aesthetic with advanced, clockwork-style alien technology hidden beneath a forgotten desert landscape. The primary theme is 'Discovery vs. Preservation.' Conflict / Stakes: The clock is ticking: the subterranean city's core is destabilizing, threatening a catastrophic earthquake that will erase the surface settlement.

Protagonist / Guide: Dr. Eleanor Vance, a cynical archaeologist who distrusts magic but needs the ancient power source to save her research station. Antagonist / Obstacle: The Chronos Guardian, a massive automated defense system programmed to destroy all 'surface contamination.'
