Pipe Diameter & Velocity to Water Flow Rate

To calculate water flow rate in a pipe, you need both the **pipe's internal diameter** and the **average velocity of the water** flowing through it.

The formula used is: $$Q = A \times v$$ where $Q$ is flow rate, $A$ is the cross-sectional area of the pipe, and $v$ is the velocity.

This tool assumes a circular pipe and water flowing fully through it.
