Fixation Data Analyzer
Input the total number of fixations and their combined duration (in milliseconds) for each "Area of Interest" (AOI) from your eye-tracking study.
This tool will calculate the average fixation duration for each AOI and provide overall totals.
Note: Enter positive numbers only. Durations should be in milliseconds (ms).

Total Fixations Across All AOIs: 0
Total Fixation Duration Across All AOIs: 0 ms
Interpreting Fixation Data:
- **Higher average duration:** Often indicates deeper processing or more cognitive effort.
- **More fixations:** Could mean more attention, but also potential confusion if fixations are spread out on a single element (e.g., searching for something).
- **Time to First Fixation:** A quick first fixation on a key element suggests good discoverability.
- **Context is key:** Always analyze fixation data in conjunction with other metrics (e.g., task success, user interviews) to understand *why* users gazed where they did.
